SECOND Workshop on
THE MATHEMATICS OF SUBJECTIVE PROBABILITY
Call for papers
We are pleased to announce the Second Workshop on
The Mathematics of Subjective Probability,
which will take place in the form of a web conference on
September 1nd - 3th, 2021.
The workshop focuses on all branches of mathematics, statistics or economics in which probability is not treated as a mere assumption but rather as part of the solution to some real problem. In organizing the second edition of this meeting we aim at putting together researchers who, each in his/her own field of expertise, share such fundamental view and at bringing to the general attention the work done so far and the great future potential.
CONFERENCE TOPICS
The conference focuses on a number of topics which includes (but is not limited to):
Ambiguity;
Bayesian statistics;
Coherence and conditioning;
Decision models under risk and uncertainty;
Finitely additive probabilities;
Gambling;
Game theory;
Learning and merging of opinions;
Limit theorems;
Mass transportation.
